How fees work
What you pay depends on your plan, how long your visits are and what we do in them. These answers are in plain words, and the front desk goes through yours before your first visit.
Insurance we work with
We bill many kinds of plans and tell you whether we are in network with yours before you book. The list is by type of plan, not by company, and the front desk checks your plan card.
Most PPO and HMO plans
Medicare
Medicaid
Workers' compensation
School or club accident plans
If you pay yourself
If you do not use insurance, you pay for each visit on the day. We tell you the fee before you book. If cost is a worry, tell the front desk before you book and we will go through the options with you.
An estimate in advance
If you pay without insurance, we give you a written estimate before your first visit: what we expect each visit to cost and what it includes. This is your right under federal law. If a bill comes to $400 or more above your estimate, you can dispute it.
Checking your benefits
Our front desk checks your benefits and calls you with what they find, before your first visit. Your plan decides what it pays, and your copay, deductible and coinsurance are set by your plan. The form on this site asks only for your name and how to reach you.
What the first visit includes
Your first visit is about an hour with one physical therapist. They listen, test your eyes, head and neck movement and balance, explain what they find and agree on a plan with you, including the risks and the choices. We do not decide your whole plan on day one.
Questions about paying
Does my plan cover this, and do you take Medicare?
We bill many kinds of plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, workers' compensation and most PPO and HMO plans. Your plan decides what it pays. We check your benefits and call you before your first visit.
What if I pay myself?
We give you a written estimate before your first visit, and you pay for each visit on the day. We do not bill your plan for visits you pay for yourself. If your plan may reimburse you, ask us for a detailed receipt to send in. Your plan decides whether it pays.
Is a student's accident plan accepted?
Many school and club accident plans pay for physical therapy. Bring the card, and we check the plan before the first visit.
